Holiday Music performed by Judy Handler& Mark Levesque
Judy and Mark return for the tenth year to perform enchanting instrumental renditions of traditional and contemporary music for acoustic guitar and mandolin. They play well known holiday music, jazz songs and popular music from Broadway shows. They know just how to create the perfect ambience.

Larry Carr spoke of the pressing issue of mental health in our community and how since Covid the issues are worsening. He mentioned how in the past 12 months over 40% of high school students experience bouts of sadness and hopeless for over 2 weeks to the point where they stop normal activities. Mental health has become the top issue parents are confronting about the child’s wellbeing. Westminster will be hosting community conversation on this issue Sunday November 12th starting at 4:30pm. This is in alliance with the Greater Hartford Interfaith Alliance. Listen to our recorded meeting for full details.
Come out and have some fun while doing good. Build a house! Build day scheduled for Friday November 10th. 7:45am – 3pm. No tools necessary. Bring your lunch.

Tour of the UConn Hartford campus, site of the former Hartford Times on November 9th 11am – 2pm with a discussion of with some of the professors. Box lunch. Fliers were available. Carpool from the parking lot.
September 15th at 12:30 commemorative lecture by Historian Matt Warshauer at Civil War Soldier called the Forlorn Soldier, Old Hayfoot at the north lobby of the State Capitol 12:30 Reservation must be made by September 8th. Meet at Westminster at 11:30. See Paul Dean.

Entry/drop off at 29 Atheneum Square accessible entrance near the corner of Prospect across from the Travelers’ Tower
Parking at the Front Street South Garage (parking tickets to be stamped at the Museum, $3.00 for the day per vehicle). Car pools will be arranged in advance.
Lunch: 12 pm at the Berkins on Main cafe located at the Museum. Savory wraps available
Cost (estimated) per attendee: $37.00 (includes Tour, Lunch, Parking, share of lunch for our docent).
