Many of us contribute time and/or money to favorite community service organizations. And, our interests can range from simply wanting to know about worthwhile volunteer opportunities to occasionally recruiting for the boards we serve. Volunteering together with other members also reinforces fellowship and helps advance the CT Old Guard’s overall mission of community service.
If you’d like your community service organization listed here on the CT Old Guard website just send a note to CTOLDGUARD@GMAIL.COM with the following information:
1) the organization’s name and website link;
2) interesting photos depicting the organization’s activities;
3) ideas as to how one can support the cause, and
4) CT Old Guard members who are already involved.
The goal here is not to simply record “who’s doing what” but also to attract others who are inclined to volunteer and looking for ideas.
