Dom Amore is a Connecticut-based sports journalist and author for the Hartford Courant with over 40 years of experience covering New York and Connecticut sports. He is known for his work as a beat writer for the Yankees and UConn men’s basketball, has received the Connecticut Sportswriter of the Year award multiple times, and is also an adjunct professor of journalism. Amore has co-authored a book with former UConn coach Jim Calhoun.
