With career stops at the Mark Twain House, the Old New-Gate Prison Museum, the Hartford Public Library and the New Britain Museum of American Art, Jeffrey Mainville is ready to bring his expertise of over 20 years to West Hartford.

“I’m proud of all the places I’ve been associated with,” said Mainville, who lives in Manchester. “I really caught the bug when I started working at the Mark Twain House. Very early on I really enjoyed working with visitors and teaching folks and learning myself about why people are fascinated with historical sites. The Mark Twain House is an iconic location. Bill began his government affairs career by working directly for two Democratic Speakers of the House of Representatives, learning the intricacies of the legislative process from inside this key leadership office. Following service on behalf of the Speaker, Bill entered the private sector and served as the Director of Government Relations for the Connecticut State Dental Society, one of Connecticut’s largest health related associations, and thereafter became associated with a large Hartford lobbying group.
